The Fellowship Run (Relay)

Fellowship Run Race Map

The race begins at an imaginary start line between two stone pillars behind the barns at Hengstacer Farms.
Start

Checkpoint Zone One – The camp of Walt Whitrose and Sage Hayseed, north of Chetwood.
Checkpoint One

Relay riders #1 and #2 must transfer the baton while inside the camp, bordered by the broken stone walls.
Checkpoint One Zone

Checkpoint Zone Two – The abandoned graveyard with a mourner.
Checkpoint Two

Relay riders #2 and #3 must transfer the baton while inside the yard of the stone building, bordered by the fence and cliff.
Checkpoint Two Zone

The finish is an imaginary line between the two posts of the first gate of the farm’s race course. Riders must pass north through this gate.
Finish Line

Riders do not need to enter or exit the transfer zones at any particular location. They must simply be inside the zones when the baton is traded from one rider to another.


High King’s Challenge

The race begins at an imaginary start line between two trees on the road leading away from Tinnudir Keep.
Start

Checkpoint One – Riders must completely cross the bridge leading out of Tinnudir.
Checkpoint One

Checkpoint Two – Honor the kings of old by visiting the monument on the crossroads at Canadiach. Pass this counter-clockwise. Riders must only go around the statue, not the base of the monument.
Checkpoint Two

Checkpoint Three – Prove your bravery by racing through Barad Rath. Pass the highest tower counter-clockwise. Riders can go through or around the ruins at the base of the tower.
Checkpoint Three

Checkpoint Four – Riders must completely cross the bridge leading into Tinnudir.
Checkpoint Four

The finish line and the start line are the same.


Rivendell Challenge

The race begins at an imaginary start line between the milestone marker and base of the stairs in front of the Forsaken Inn.
Rivendell Challenge Start

Checkpoint One – Riders must pass between the stone structures at the Tornstones.

Checkpoint Two – Riders must pass clockwise around a boulder in the High Moors east of the Ford of Bruinen. (With the boulder on their right.) It is located at 33.7 S and 8.9 W.

Finish Line – An imaginary line drawn between the statue of Gil-galad and a cedar tree in front of the Last Homely House in Rivendell.

Rivendell Challenge – Warsteeds Course

The race begins at an imaginary start line between a tree and road sign in front of the Forsaken Inn.

Checkpoint One – Riders must pass between two stones in the ruins atop Weathertop, in either direction. Look for the unburied portion of a stone circle on the ground.

Checkpoint Two – Riders must pass between two stone structures at the Tornstones, heading east at 33.85S/29.0W.

Checkpoint Three – Cross the Last Bridge heading east into the Trollshaws.

Checkpoint Four – Pass between two stone trolls in the Stone-Trolls Glade at 31.2S/18.2W in either direction. Look for two trolls with both hands off the ground.

Shadowfax Sprint

Shadowfax Sprint Race Map

The race begins at an imaginary line that crosses the road, starting at the eastern post at the end of the path coming down from the Methel-stage.

Checkpoint One – Riders must pass clockwise around the far silo at Sandson’s Farm. (32.1S/74.8W)

Checkpoint Two – Riders must pass west-to-east between the banner posts and the road sign at the starting area. (32.0S/70.0W)

Checkpoint Three – Riders must pass around the easternmost pillar of the Yale-height. This can be passed clockwise, coming up the hill from the south, or counter-clockwise, coming up the hill from Woodhall. (33.1S/65.0W)

Finish Line – The same as the start line. Riders must pass between the banner posts and road sign.

A clockwise pass means riding with the checkpoint on your right.
A counter-clockwise pass means riding with the checkpoint on your left.
