Pern has often been described as “the first world I wanted to be real”. Many of us discovered Anne McCaffrey’s amazing fantasy world as children. Though she passed away in November of 2011, her tales of hope and heroism live on. Our campaign is inspired by the original novella “Weyr Search”, winner of a Hugo award in 1968.
